The extent to which university education contributes to the development of human capital

Abstract
This research seeks to clarify the role of university education in developing human capital and identify the main components of human capital, and try to identify the extent of the community college interest in King Khalid University in developing and developing its human capital and to ensure the existence of the relationship between investment in human capital and its components and improving job performance at King Khalid University, as well as clarifying the direct impact on investment in human capital and access to job performance for the university in question and to provide some recommendations in light of the results of the study, which we hope will contribute to activating the investment in human capital and its use in a way that to ensure improved job performance. The importance of research stems from the extreme necessity that human capital has acquired, and to determine the extent of its contribution to creating value for institutions in modern knowledge-based economies, and with the rapid development in society, there is an urgent need to measure human capital and disclose it in the accounting records as it is the intangible resource that It increases the efficiency and value of institutions because it has become a measure of the quality of institutions. The study population was represented by the female students of the Community College of Khamis Mushait at King Khalid University, and the SPSS statistical analysis program was used to find the frequency distributions and percentages of the questionnaire axes, and the study relied on the analytical descriptive approach. Which seeks to describe the characteristics of the sample and the variables of the study and analyze them, using the appropriate statistical methods for the study. The research reached results that the most important of which are: University education helps students to be able to discuss solutions to problems professionally. University education increases students' ability to organize and carry out tasks professionally. University education provides modern methods of acquiring professional skills. University education is considered a means to achieve the material and social progress of female students. University education develops students' abilities to present debate and present different points of view in writing and orally. Among the most important recommendations: Working to help female students at King Khalid University to overcome weaknesses during their studies through various training programs and work to implement the performance management process as a process aimed at achieving effectiveness in developing the capabilities of students and the distinguished academic performance of female students in the college and review the performance periodically, annually or quarterly in order to follow up the performance of students in the college, also the adoption of feedback to measure academic performance to obtain information on the effectiveness of students' performance.
