Abstract
This research deals with the concept of green marketing and its role in achieving sustainable development. the importance of the topic of green marketing comes to its role in meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generation to meet their own needs. The research problem represented in answering the following questions: does green marketing contribute to achieving sustainable development? and the extent to which Fahd Al-Medhath electricity corporation applies the concept of green marketing. The researcher followed the descriptive analytical method; Accordingly, the researcher designed a questionnaire that was distributed to 45 employees of the Fahd Al- Medhath Electricity Corporation. The questionnaire was analyzed using the SPSS program The hypotheses have been validated. The most important findings of the research are green marketing leads to sustainable development and Fahd Al-Medahth electricity corporation applies the concept of green marketing. and the most important recommendations were to pay attention to the green marketing mix and to increase consumer awareness to turn into a green consumer. and to face the challenges facing green promotion.
