Abstract
This study aimed at clarifying the transformational leadership and its impact on the strategic performance, applied study in the Jordanian Customs Department. The study population shall be from the Jordanian Customs Department. The study shall be based on a random sample of all employees in the upper and middle grades. All managers should be considered at the administrative level: General Manager, Consultant, Madbir, (N=244). To achieve the objectives of the study and to test its hypotheses, the study relied on the analytical descriptive approach, in addition to the causal method, through the development of a questionnaire as a tool Head of Data Collection, developed with the expertise of a select group of experts (51). A number of statistical methods and methods were used, such as arithmetical averages, standard deviations, t-tests, and multiple, simple and multiple regression analysis. After conducting the analysis of the study data and hypotheses, the study reached a number of conclusions and recommendations, the most important of which are: The presence of significant statistical effect at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) of transformational leadership (individual considerations, intellectual stimulation, ideal impact, inspiring motivation) on the strategic performance (the focus of finance, customer focus, the axis of operations, learning and growth). Recommendations; Directing the departments of the Jordanian Customs Department to continue to pay attention to both transformational leadership and strategic performance by developing strategies to develop and adopt all new developments related to the development of transformational leadership, strategic performance.
