Abstract
Objectives: This research aims to comprehensively examine the levels of appreciation for various types of art that concern the Belgian public and authorities. Methods: The novel 'Azif al-Ghuyum by 'Ali Badr is the object of this research. A Communication Media approach is used as the first approach, and the analysis process employs a narrative perspective promoted by two experts, Gill Branston and Roy Stafford. The Narrative Perspective aims to record the stories, plots, and institutions that are relevant to the study of the novel. The Sociology of Literature is another approach that utilizes the Human Facts perspective, as promoted by Lucien Goldmann, in its analysis process. The Human Facts perspective is employed to examine collective activities that hold historical significance in Belgium. Conclusions: The research concludes by highlighting two significant perspectives: the narrative perspective and the humanitarian perspective. Firstly, the issue of music and romance as a moral balance can be viewed through symbolic institutions that hold substantial memories of life. Secondly, the polarization of moderate artistic values can be understood through the collaboration of elements such as tools, performers, forums, performance and staging objectives, and types of music.
