Abstract
This study aimed to highlight the role of small projects financed by the Development and Employment Fund in reducing poverty and unemployment. By demonstrating the contribution of small enterprises in fighting poverty, reducing unemployment and demonstrating the impact of small enterprises on improving the living conditions and incomes of the beneficiaries of these loans. To achieve these goals, a questionnaire was developed to serve the purposes of this research. The study showed the acquisition of animal projects to the largest proportion followed by commercial projects with an average income of 100 to 200 dinars per month, adding to the ability of these small projects to achieve their goals in addressing poverty and unemployment to a medium degree. The study recommends expanding small projects and increasing the value of loans in general. Adding to developed of special lending programs that attract young people from (20-30) through preferential Murabaha prices and convenient installments to encourage them to start their own projects and conduct more studies and field researches, To find out the reality of these projects closely.
