Abstract
Objectives: This study aims to identify the phonetic structure of the heavy and light (noons) and their use with correct and irregular verbs and when assigning the verb to the (alif) of pairs, the (waw) of the group, and the (ya'a) of address. Methods: This study relies on the analytical approach, which is based on interpreting phonetic and morphological relationships of a phenomenon of connected (noon) to correct and defective verbs with the (waw) or the (ya'a). Conclusions: In these analytical steps, we attempted to illustrate what happens to the present verb forms (Sahih al-Akhar and Mu'atall al-Akhar) and what occurs when they are affirmed with the letter 'noon,' understanding the changes to identify the doer. Additionally, we explored the positions where the 'noon' was omitted from the verb, the reasons for omitting the 'noon' from both phonetic and morphological perspectives.
