Abstract
This study aims to review the literature on the impact of using AI applications in the health sector to confront the Corona pandemic. To achieve the objective of the study, qualitative research was relied upon, and the guidelines of the 'PRISMA' scheme were adopted when reviewing and including relevant previous studies. The number of studies examined was (13) studies. After analyzing the results of the studies under examination, the current study concluded that there is a positive impact of using AI applications in the health sector to confront the Corona pandemic as it greatly helped in detecting the virus, limiting its spread, and reducing the number of infections with it. The current study also presented a number of recommendations represented in the need to give more attention and development to the applications of AI in various fields of life especially in the health sector to face health crises. In addition, it sheds some light on how to benefit from them while highlighting the role of the KSA in employing these applications in the health sector to confront the Corona virus and the success it has achieved.
