Administrative Skills and their Impact on Organizational Conflict Management/An Exploratory Study of the Opinions of a Sample of Individuals Working in the Roads, Bridges, Water Drains and Transport Authority in Khartoum State

Abstract
The study aimed to identify managerial skills and their impact on organizational conflict management / an exploratory study of the opinions of a sample of individuals working in the Roads, Bridges, Water Drains and Transport Authority in Khartoum State. Its importance was represented in shedding light on the need to use managerial skills as an effective management method in the various business environments of organizations. Its problem became clear that the emergence of the phenomenon of organizational conflict in business organizations has become an obstacle that many organizations suffer from at the present time as a result of the multiplicity and diversity of its causes, and that these organizational tendencies and conflicts, despite their different causes, types, and unity, undoubtedly lead to negative results, directly or indirectly, in the performance of business in organizations. The study relied on the questionnaire as a main tool in collecting its primary data. The study used the random sample method, where (30) questionnaires were distributed to a number of employees headed by the Authority, with a recovery rate of (88%) out of the total number of employees headed by the Authority, which numbered (84) employees. The study used the descriptive analytical approach and the SPSS program to analyze its basic data. The study reached a set of results, the most important of which are: the existence of a statistically significant relationship between administrative skills (cognitive, technical and human) and organizational conflict management in the Roads, Bridges, Water Drains and Transport Authority in Khartoum State. The lack of resources and their scarcity lead to the emergence of the phenomenon of organizational conflict in organizations. In conclusion, the study recommended the following: the need to use skills (dialogue, persuasion and settlement, and effective communication) in managing organizational conflict in business organizations. The need to provide all requirements and resources that help in reducing the emergence of the phenomenon of organizational conflict in business organizations.
