The Role of Intellectual Capital in Achieving Creativity -An Empirical Study on the Applied Colleges in King Khalid University

Abstract
This study attempts to investigate the role of intellectual capital in achieving creativity among faculty members and their equivalents in the Applied Colleges in King Khalid University. The IC components are (structural, human, social, and physiological capital) and their effect on the faculty members creativity (fluency, flexibility, and details). To achieve this goal, the researchers used the descriptive analytical approach, and designed a questionnaire using a random sample of (148) in applied colleges in King Khalid University. The study has a number of results, the most important one is that the intellectual capital has an essential role in the Applied Colleges, the psychological capital as the most basic component in forming the IC, and the creativity was highly. The researcher recommended that the administration of applied colleges should reinforce the intellectual capital and develop its components.
