Abstract
Objectives: This study explores the vibrant cultural landscape of Jaffa as reflected in Palestinian literature. It acts as a tribute to a diverse, multicultural city and preserves the stories of its people before the Nakba-reinforcing the Palestinian narrative and safeguarding the collective memory of the community. Methodology: The study adopts a descriptive-analytical and historical approaches, the research analyzes these accounts to trace Jaffa's historical timeline the study examines a curated selection of Palestinian realist literature, including autobiographies, memoirs, firsthand testimonies, documentary stories, diaries, and plays. Conclusion: The study concluded that Jaffa has been a thriving cultural capital and a sophisticated, modern focus with intellectual and artistic life, as captured by its native writers. By highlighting the social and political impact of Jaffa's cultural scene, the authors argue that the city deserves thorough academic research to properly document its civilizational progress, based on these findings, it is recommended to investigate literary output in Palestinian newspapers prior to the 1948 Nakba, archiving the oral folklore unique to Jaffa, exploring Jaffa's literary movement, and digitizing oral histories and narratives surrounding the city.
