Abstract
Objectives: This research delves into the history of the cultural system, aiming to uncover its roots and origins by drawing upon available written historical materials attributed to collective thought on both a universal (human) level and a specific (Arab) one. Methodology: The study is methodologically grounded in two critical foundations, in accordance with its research aims and objectives. The first is an analytical-investigative approach employed to trace the system's roots and origins to major historical events. The second involves the application of the methodological tools of both civilizational and cultural criticism to analyze the selected mythological texts. Notably, while the study relies on these two critical foundations, they are complementary rather than conflicting, with each being applied where most appropriate. Conclusion: The research concludes that cultural systems, in their entirety, are not a product of Arabic literature, nor can they be attributed to any specific individual or proponent of a particular discourse. Furthermore, cultural systems do not stem from the structure of the Arab family; rather, their roots and origins lie in major historical events within the broader scope of human history. Moreover, these systems are not confined to the Arab environment, contrary to the assertions of some studies, a point that will be elaborated upon in the course of this research.
