Abstract
Objectives: The aim of the study is to analyze the impact of employee empowerment with its dimensions (Psychological Empowerment, Structural Empowerment, Knowledge Sharing and Communication) on strategic cohesion with its dimensions (Resource Alignment, Leadership Cohesion and Functional Integration) in Jordan's telecommunications sector companies (Zain, Orange and Umniah). Methods: The study followed the descriptive-analytical approach, and used simple linear regression analysis to measure the impact of each independent sub-variable on the dependent variable, as well as to measure the impact of the independent variable in all its dimensions as a single unit on the dependent variable. The research population consisted of full-time employees from the three companies who totaled 851 individuals once service workers were removed and the sample size was 246 employees. Results: The study concluded that there is a statistically significant impact of employee empowerment on strategic cohesion. The results also showed a statistically significant impact of psychological empowerment, structural empowerment, and knowledge sharing and communication on strategic cohesion. Conclusions: Based on the findings, several recommendations were advised, the most important of which is building psychological empowerment systems alongside structural empowerment, and knowledge sharing initiatives with better communication methods alongside leadership development programs.
