Abstract
Objectives: This study aims to identify the manifestations of deviation from syntactic order, deduce the reasons for deviation from rank and leniency, understand its ruling, and trace the effects of deviation from rank. Methodology: The research follows a theoretical induction approach to the grammatical principles of rank and deviation from it, its syntactic rules, and its rhetorical connotations. In order to document the rules, establish their provisions, clarify their divisions, define their manifestations, highlight their purposes and causes, define the consequences of such deviations, and apply the method of applied induction to what is mentioned in Imru' al-Qais's Mu'allaqat. Conclusion: The research confirms the necessity of separating the prose level - choice - from the poetic level - necessity - in codification. It also highlights the importance of the textual study of poetry and its impact on proving and strengthening grammatical rules, or denying and weakening them.
