Abstract

Objectives: This research aims to study the phenomenon of grammatical reasoning in al-Jilani's work, as one of the fundamental issues in Arabic grammatical thought. It sheds light on its manifestations in al-Jilani's writings, specifically in the chapter on nominatives. The research discusses the origins of grammatical reasoning, its justifications, its types. Methodology: The research relies on the descriptive-analytical approach, identifying and classifying issues related to reasoning, and discussing their reasons and methodological foundations. Conclusion: The research concludes that al-Jilani maintained the traditional grammatical system and was keen to explain phenomena within a precise grammatical framework, demonstrating a grammatical awareness that reflects the depth of the Arabic approach to interpreting linguistic phenomena.
