Abstract
Objectives: This study aimed to examine the influence of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies on financial decision-making processes in Saudi companies operating in the food industry. Methods: The research employed a descriptive analytical approach, gathering data through simple random sampling from a sample of 456 participants. Results: Results indicated that Saudi companies in the food sector are widely adopting AI technologies, including intelligent agents, artificial neural networks, and expert systems. These tools are found to play a significant role in enhancing the quality and efficiency of financial decision-making in these companies. Conclusions: The study emphasized the importance of fostering a supportive environment for AI implementation within Saudi firms, highlighting the need for a solid technological infrastructure as a foundation for effective AI integration. It also underlined the critical role of hiring individuals with extensive scientific and practical expertise in AI. Additionally, the research recommended providing training programs and courses to equip Saudi employees with the necessary skills to handle and optimize AI applications. Such measures, as suggested by the study, would enable Saudi companies to maximize the benefits of AI technologies, ultimately enhancing their competitiveness and decision-making capabilities in the food sector.
