Abstract
The study aimed at identifying the female-teacher's practices that impact on development of motivation for learning among secondary school female-students from the viewpoint of behavioral science female-teachers in Khamis Mushait. The study used the descriptive-survey approach with the closed-ended questionnaire as a tool, and the study population was the female-teachers of behavioral sciences in the secondary schools affiliated to Khamis Mushait Governorate, and the tool was applied to the entire population of (53) female-teachers who have responded to the study tool. The study concluded that all female-teacher's practices mentioned in the questionnaire have a significant impact on the motivation for learning among secondary school female-students from the viewpoint of behavioral science female-teachers in secondary schools affiliated to Khamis Mushait Governorate, and female-teachers' practices of the highest impact on the motivation for learning among secondary schools female-students were the following: - She takes into account the health and psychological conditions experienced by the female-students. - She keens to satisfy the basic needs of the female-student from eating, drinking and going to the toilet. - She engages the students in determining and testing some of their evaluation methods and mechanisms. – She allows female-students to devise new methods and solutions for learning. - She guides female-students to support and enrichment programs that support their learning of the curriculum content. The study recommended the educational preparation for the pre-service female-teacher, and continuous training in the skills of the female-teacher that increases the motivation of her female-students towards learning.
