Abstract
The study aimed to identify the reality of excellence management in the colleges of Shaqra University according to the European model of excellence (EFQM) from the viewpoint of the heads of academic departments in it, and proposals for improvement, where the descriptive approach was used to achieve the goals and develop a questionnaire consisting of (30) paragraphs distributed in (6) areas It was applied to a random sample of (65) heads of an academic department at Shaqra University. The study concluded that: The reality of excellence management in the colleges of Shaqra University, according to the European model, came with a middle reality, There are no statistically significant differences attributable to the study variables (gender, academic rank) on the tool as a whole, with the exception of the variable of the college category came in favor of human colleges, One of the most important proposals to improve the reality of excellence management in Shaqra University colleges is to establish a mechanism to measure the satisfaction of faculty members and society, stimulating distinguished practices of human resources in the college. Among the most important recommendations of the study: Spreading the culture of excellence in Shaqra University's colleges in accordance with the criteria of the European model of excellence, while exploiting the impact of human colleges. Measuring the satisfaction of all beneficiaries of students, employees, faculty, individuals, and community institutions.
