The Role of School Administrations in Promoting the Culture of Traffic Education among Grade 10 Students in Basic Education Schools of Cycle Two in the Sultanate of Oman

Abstract
The study aimed to identify the role of school administrations in promoting the culture of traffic education among Grade 10 students at basic education schools of Cycle Two in the Sultanate of Oman. To achieved its objectives. the researchers deployed the qualitative approach through semi-structured interviews to identify the mechanisms used to promote the culture of traffic education. The study population included employees from the Ministry of Education, eight schools in the Directorate General of Education in the Governorates of Muscat and South Batinah, the General Directorate of Traffic and the Association of Road Safety. The researchers chose a purposeful sample of (73) participants concerned with the promotion of the culture of traffic education among Grade 10 students. After the data collection, the audio data was transcribed. The result shoved showed a number of results, including that the schools in question lack a clear inclusion of promoting the culture of traffic education in the vision and mission of the school, two schools of eight schools have clear projects in traffic education, and that the role of school administrations to promote traffic in education emerged through awareness raising lectures. Establish traffic schools in some schools affiliated to the Ministry of Education. In light of the results of the study, a number of recommendations on of them is octivating the culture of traffic education in the Sultanate of Oman schools through the vision and mission of the school.
