Employment of Social Networks in the Development of Life Skills among High School Students from the Perspective of Students and Teachers

Abstract
This study aim to find out the impact of the employment of the social networks on the development of life skills among high school students from the perspective of students and teachers. To achieve this, the study sought to answer the following main question: What is the appropriate recruitment of the social networks in developing life skills among high school students See students and teachers? It has the following questions: 1-What is the reality of the use of social networks in the development of life skills among high school students from the perspective of students and teachers? 2-What are the obstacles to the employment of social networks in the development of life skills among high school students from the perspective of students and teachers? 3-What are the ways to employ social networks in the development of life skills among high school students from the point of view of teachers? 4 – what are there significant differences between the responses of teachers in the study axes due to the difference (type of qualification, years of experience, specialization? 5-Are there statistically significant differences between the responses of students in the study subjects due to the difference (grade, type of network, duration of use? 6-Are there statistically significant differences in the responses of both students and teachers about the reality and constraints of employing social networks in developing life skills? The study sample consisted of (357) teachers working in the secondary schools of the Department of Education in Riyadh during the first semester of the academic year 1434-1435. They were randomly selected. The questionnaire was distributed to 10% of the original community members. (954) students were randomly selected. This sample represents the sample size at the 99% confidence level, which is more than the specified number (663) according to the cadres available in the statistical books (Al Qahtani) Et al., 1431H, p. 283). The study tool was distributed in a deliberate manner, starting with random methods, In order to answer these questions, the researcher used the descriptive descriptive method. The questionnaire was used as a tool for study and applied to two samples (teachers and students) of secondary school in Riyadh for the first semester of the academic year 1434-1435 AH. The study showed the following results: 1-The responses of the study sample members from teachers and students to the "reality of the use of social networks in the development of life skills among high school students" with a general average indicates an option (ok) on the study tool. 2-The responses of the study sample members of teachers and students on the "obstacles faced by secondary school students when using social networks in life skills development" were presented with a general average indicating an (OK) option for the study instrument. 3-The responses of the sample members of the study, on "ways to activate social networks in the development of life skills for high school students" with a general average refers to the option (strongly agree) on the study tool.
