Abstract
Objectives: This study explores the impact of educational pathway on adolescents' Psychosocial adjustment in academic and vocational secondary education. It examines whether differences exist in psychological and social adjustment based on the chosen educational track. Methods: The research follows a descriptive causal comarative approach, addressing the central question: To what extent does the educational pathway influence adolescents' Psychosocial adjustment? A randomly selected sample of 300 students (post-ninth grade) from both educational tracks was analyzed during the 2023-2024 academic year. Results: The results showed that no significant differences were found in psychological adjustment between academic and vocational students, and no significant differences were found in social adjustment between the two groups. Conclusions: The study underscores the importance of educational pathways in shaping adolescents' Psychosocial well-being. However, findings suggest that students in both tracks demonstrate similar levels of adjustment, emphasizing the need for personalized guidance and support in academic and vocational education.
