Abstract
Objectives: The current research aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a training program based on digital content design supported by thinking skills to develop the teaching performance of science teachers. Methods: The researchers adopted the quasi-experimental approach (one - group design). The sample of the reserch consisted of (15) female and male teachers from science teachers of the essencial primary schools. Results: The research results revealed statistically significant differences at the level of (alpha = 0.01) between the mean scores of teachers in the pre- and post-application phases of the observation card in favor of the post- application. Furthermore, the proposed program- based on digital content design supported by thinking skills- demonstrated acceptable effectiveness as indicated by Black's Gain Ratio of (1.278) in improving the teaching performance of science teachers. Conclusions: The research recommends rehabilitating science teachers through modern training programs focused on digital content design and skill development to keep pace with modern challenges.
