Determining the Training Needs Necessary in Improving the Quality of the Application of the Developed Tracks for Secondary School Principals in Riyadh City from the Perspective of School Principals

Abstract
Objectives: The study aimed to identify the training needs of secondary school principals in Riyadh in the fields (organizational, administrative, and technical) to improve the quality of implementing the developed tracks system. Methods: The study used the descriptive survey method. The sample was selected in a simple random manner, and consisted of (181) secondary school principals in Riyadh. The questionnaire was used as a study tool. Results: The study concluded with several findings, the most significant of which is that the training needs of secondary school principals in Riyadh for improving the quality of implementing the developed educational tracks were rated as high, with a mean score of (2.39). Additionally, the training needs of secondary school principals in the organizational domain for enhancing the quality of implementing the developed tracks were rated as moderate, with a mean score of (2.27). Conclusions: The study recommended that those responsible for the track system at the Ministry of Education at the secondary stage design a diverse training package of training programs for secondary school principals in order to improve the level of performance of principals and improve the quality of implementing the track system.
