The Role of Social Support in Achieving Academic Adjustment Among Students at An-Najah National University

Abstract
Objectives: This study aimed to identify the role of social support in achieving academic adjustment among students at An-Najah National University. Methods: The researchers adopted descriptive correlational methodology. Two scales were applied: the first measured social support and included 20 items distributed across four domains, and the second measured academic adjustment, consisting of 30 items distributed across three domains. The study was conducted on a random sample of 250 students from An-Najah National University. Results: The results revealed that the level of social support was high, and the level of academic adjustment was also high. Additionally, the results showed a statistically significant positive relationship between social support and academic adjustment. Conclusions: The researchers provided a set of recommendations aimed at enhancing social support and improving academic adjustment among students.
