Supervisory Competencies of Physical Education Supervisors in Palestine from Teachers' Point of View

Abstract
Objectives: The study aimed to identify the degree of supervisory competencies among physical education supervisors in Palestine from teachers' point of view, in addition to identifying the differences in supervisory competencies according to the variables of gender, academic qualification and experience among teachers. Methods: The descriptive analytical approach was used due to its suitability to the objectives of the study. The sample consisted of (324) male and female physical education teachers. A questionnaire measuring supervisory competencies consisting of (40) items was applied after verifying its validity and reliability. Results: The results of the study concluded that the degree of supervisory competencies among physical education supervisors in Palestine from teachers' point of view was high with an arithmetic mean of (3.70) point from (5) points, in addition there are no significant differences in the supervisory competencies among physical education supervisors in Palestine from the teachers' point of view due to the variables of gender, academic qualification and experience among teachers. Conclusions: The study recommended several recommendations, the most important of which are: training physical education supervisors in light of the training approach based on supervisory competencies.
