Abstract
Objectives: The study aimed to investigate the impact of applying the constructivist learning model in vocational education on developing creative thinking and vocational tendencies among seventh-grade female students in Jordan. Methods: The study employed a quasi-experimental approach, with a sample of (80) students purposively selected from Abu Al-Qasim Al-Shabi Basic School, affiliated with the Bani Obeid District Directorate in Jordan. Results: The results showed a positive impact of the constructivist model on developing creative thinking, as the experimental group outperformed the control group in flexibility and originality, except for fluency, which highlights the effectiveness of the constructivist model compared to the traditional method. The results also revealed the impact of the constructivist model on vocational tendencies, except for the areas of academic subjects and human patterns, at a significance level of (alpha<-0.05). Conclusions: The study recommended that stakeholders in vocational education teaching explore the impact of applying the constructivist learning model in teaching other scientific subjects, across different educational stages, and with other dependent variables.
