Abstract
Objectives: The study aims to assess the quality of life among caregivers, as well as to identify statistically significant differences in the quality of life among caregivers based on demographic variables. The study also seeks to identify the main challenges and pressures faced by caregivers and how to overcome them. Methods: The researchers employed an analytical descriptive method to answer the study's questions, using the Arabic version of the World Health Organization's Quality of Life (WHOQOL-BREF) questionnaire. The study involved 107 caregivers. Results: The study found that caregivers have a moderate quality of life. It also identified that the environmental domain has the most significant impact on quality of life, followed by the physical health domain. Additionally, the study revealed statistically significant differences in quality of life based on gender and housing variables. Conclusions: The researchers provided a set of recommendations to improve quality of life and address life challenges, including providing social and psychological support, financial resources, and supportive services, enhancing health services, and offering training and guidance on effective coping strategies.
