The Evaluation of Applying Distance Learning During the Corona Pandemic from the Cycle One Teachers' Point of View in the Sultanate of Oman

Abstract
The current study aimed to evaluate the application of distance learning during the Corona pandemic from the cycle one teachers' point of view in the Sultanate of Oman. Descriptive design was adopted. The study sample consists of (172) teachers who were selected randomly. The researchers developed the attitudes survey which consists of (25) items distributed into two domains (advantage and disadvantage of distance learning). The results showed that the opinions of the cycle one teachers toward distance learning were negative. Whilst the level of distance learning advantage was low, the level of distance learning disadvantage was moderate. According to variables, the results showed that there was no significant difference in the opinions of cycle one teachers in the Sultanate of Oman toward distance learning due to major. In addition, the results showed that there was significant difference in the opinions of cycle one teachers toward distance learning due to years of experience in favor of teacher with less years of experience.
