The Level of Impact of Resonant Leadership on Organizational Commitment Among Employees in the General Directorates of Education in the Sultanate of Oman

Abstract
Objectives: This study aimed to reveal the extent of the impact of resonant leadership on organizational commitment among employees in the Directorates General of Education in the Sultanate of Oman. Methods: The study adopted the descriptive approach and developed a measurement tool consisting of (43) items, distributed across two axes: resonant leadership with (26) items, and organizational commitment with (17) items. After verifying its statistical properties, it was applied to a sample of (377) male and female employees from the educational directorates in Muscat, North Al Batinah, and Al Buraimi in the Sultanate of Oman. Results: The results revealed that the level of effective leadership practiced by department heads in the Directorates General of Education in Muscat, North Al Batinah, and Al Buraimi was generally high. The results also revealed that the level of organizational commitment among employees in the Directorates of Education in Muscat, North Al Batinah, and Al Buraimi was generally high. Conclusions: The study recommends a number of recommendations, including: spreading the culture of resonant leadership in all its dimensions and establishing it as an approved organizational culture in educational directorates, and developing emotional intelligence skills, empathy skills, and constructive communication by designing training programs to enhance commitment, improve the work environment, and sustain institutional performance.
