Analyzing Creative Thinking Skills in the Arabic Language Curriculum for Kindergarten in Light of Torrance’s Creative Thinking Model

Abstract
Objectives: This study aimed to analyze creative thinking skills in the Arabic language curriculum for kindergarten in light of Torrance's model of creative thinking. Methods: The current study adopted the descriptive approach using content analysis through the development of an analysis card composed of the skills of originality, flexibility, fluency, and elaboration, along with their sub-indicators, according to Torrance's scale. Results: The results showed that the curriculum covered all creative thinking skills (originality, flexibility, fluency, elaboration) and their analyzed sub-indicators, albeit at varying levels. Conclusions: The study recommended that early childhood represents a fertile stage for developing creative thinking skills among kindergarten children.
