The Effect of an Educational Program Using Artificial Intelligence (ChatGPT) on Digital Empowerment in Analytic Geometry among Tenth-Grade Students in the Arab Sector Within the Green Line

Abstract
Objectives: This study aimed to determine the effect of an educational program based on the use of artificial intelligence (ChatGPT) on developing digital empowerment in the analytical geometry subject among tenth-grade students in the Arab sector within the Green Line, and to identify differences in the level of digital empowerment between the experimental and control groups. Methods: This study employed a quasi-experimental design with two groups (experimental and control) using pre- and post-test measurements. The study sample comprised 60 tenth-grade students, who were randomly assigned equally to the experimental and control groups. Results: The results indicated a statistically significant positive effect between the pre- and post-measurements in favor of the post-measurement for the experimental group, demonstrating the effectiveness of the AI-based educational program (ChatGPT) in developing digital empowerment in analytical geometry among tenth-grade students in the Arab sector within the Green Line. The effect size (Cohen's d) was very large (1.99). Conclusions: The study concluded that the educational program based on the use of artificial intelligence (ChatGPT) contributed positively and effectively to the development of digital empowerment among tenth-grade students in the analytical geometry subject within the Arab sector within the Green Line.
