Abstract
Objectives: The study aimed to identify the degree to which the principal uses digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI) in Palestinian Government Schools in the Directorate of Education, South Nablus. It also aimed to see whether the principal's usages are affected by other related factors. Methods: The study adopted the descriptive-analytical approach to determine the mean percentage of school principals' use of technology and artificial intelligence. It also employed a qualitative approach to analyze the participants' responses. The study was conducted on a simple random sample drawn from the target population, consisting of (47) participants. Results: The results revealed that school principals use digital technology and artificial intelligence to a high degree, with no statistically significant differences between the two domains, along with other related findings. Conclusions: The study presented several recommendations, including the allocation of specific annual budgets within the Ministry's strategic plan to equip public schools in South Nablus with modern computers and smart boards, and to connect them to high-speed internet networks, along with periodic monitoring to ensure their technical readiness and operational efficiency.
