The Relationship between Teacher’s Educational Practices in Spreading the Culture of Volunteer Work and Enhancing the Value of Giving among a Sample of Female Secondary School Students in Makkah Governorate

Abstract
Objectives: This study aimed of revealing the relationship between female teacher's educational practices in spreading the culture of volunteer work and enhancing the value of giving among a sample of female secondary school students. Methods: The study employed descriptive survey methodology and descriptive correlation methodology. The primary study sample included a simple random sample comprising (384) female secondary school students from various grades, school sectors, and departments in Makkah Al-Mukarramah. Results: The main findings of the study revealed that the level of teachers' educational practices in promoting the culture of volunteer work through various practices among the sample of secondary school female students was moderate. The first educational practice-teachers' mechanisms for volunteer work-ranked first, followed by the second practice, which is school-family partnership, both at a moderate level, among other results. Conclusions: In light of the study's findings, the researchers present several key recommendations, including the development of both printed and electronic educational booklets that outline teachers' pedagogical practices for promoting a culture of volunteerism and guidance on how to implement these practices in ways appropriate to different age groups, among other suggestions.
