The Level of Anxiety of Electronic Exams among Students of Palestine Technical University "Kadoorie" and Ways to Overcome them

Abstract
The study aimed to identify the level of anxiety of electronic exams among students at Palestine Technical University "Kadoorie" from the point of view of the students themselves, and ways to overcome them from the point of view of the faculty members, as well as to identify the impact of the study variables: gender, branch of specialization, academic level, and place of residence on the responses of the study. The sample of the study was from the students at Palestine Technical University "Kadoorie" in the level of anxiety of electronic exams. The study population consisted of (7243) male and female students, and the sample consisted of (353) male and female students from the students of Palestine Technical University "Kadoorie", and (16) faculty members. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive approach was used in its analytical form, and a questionnaire was built as a tool for the study consisting of five areas” (Anxiety for social reasons, anxiety for reasons related to academic subjects, anxiety for reasons related to psychological readiness, anxiety for reasons related to electronic exams, and anxiety for reasons related to computer. An interview was conducted with a sample of faculty members, and a number of (10) proposals came out. The results showed that the arithmetic averages and standard deviations of the domains of the level of electronic examination anxiety among the students of Palestine Technical University Kadoorie in the total degree came (4.09) to a high degree, where the percentage of response to it reached (81.8%) which came first. The second field (concern related to academic subjects), where the total score for the arithmetic average was (4.26) and a percentage is (85.2%), which is very high. In the second place, the third field (psychological readiness) and the total score for the arithmetic average is (4.17) and a percentage is (83.4%), which is high. In the third place the fourth field (electronic exams), the total score for the average is (4.10) and a percentage is (82%). It is high, and in the fourth place is the fifth domain (computer), the total score for the arithmetic mean is (4.3), and the percentage is (80.6), which is high. (76.2) is high, and there are no statistically significant differences between the averages of students' responses to the level of anxiety due to the variables of specialization, place of residence, and academic level. While there are differences due to the gender variable in favor of males. The electronic exam mechanism, and the study recommended training university students on skills related to electronic exams in terms of time management, exam loading, delivery and smart answers, and employing the role of student counseling at the university to reduce the level of anxiety among students by implementing stress-reducing activities and programs and providing other options for taking the exam in case of not being able to submit the exam electronically for various reasons.
