Life Satisfaction and its Relationship with Marital Adjustment in Light of COVID-19 Pandemic

Abstract
The research aimed at identifying the relationship between life satisfaction and its relationship with marital adjustment in light of COVID-19 Pandemic among a sample of couples in Riyadh city. The researcher used the descriptive approach. The sample consisted of (350) couples in Riyadh. The researcher used a life satisfaction Scale by Al-Dasouqi (1999). Also, he used the Martial Adjustment Scale by Al-Balawi (2010). The results showed a low level of life satisfaction among married couples. The results also showed a low level of marital adjustment among married couples. Moreover, the results showed that there is a positive correlation and statistically significance between sample scores on Life Satisfaction Scale and scores of Martial Adjustment Scale. Also, there are statistically significant differences between the scores of the sample in the Life Satisfaction scale average age groups in favor of the (20-30). The results showed that there are no statistically significant differences between the scores of the sample in the Marital Adjustment Scale as it is attributed to the age groups.
