Abstract
Objectives: This study aims to derive the characteristics of the decision-maker in the Prophetic approach, identify the underlying elements of decision-making within this approach, and define the implications of the decision-making steps as exemplified in the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Methods: The study employs the descriptive-analytical method by analyzing a number of historical sources related to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Results: The study concluded that Prophetic decision-making and modern management share fundamental principles such as planning, crisis management, and information analysis. However, Prophetic decisions are characterized by greater flexibility and are grounded in ethical values and consultation (Shura). The study emphasizes the importance of adopting the Prophetic approach to decision-making as an effective managerial framework in modern institutions, while integrating contemporary analytical tools and data to enhance efficiency. Conclusions: The study recommends referencing the biography of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) when training educators on decision-making theories, as this enhances their understanding and facilitates the transition from theoretical knowledge to practical application. The study also recommends adopting the Prophetic approach in the procedural regulations of educational and administrative processes in order to ground Islamic administrative thought.
