Abstract
Objectives: The current study aimed to identify the level of school principals' skills in evaluating employee performance according to the individual performance measurement system (Ijada) from their point of view. Methods: To achieve the study objectives, the descriptive approach was used, and the questionnaire was used as a study tool, consisting of (26) paragraphs distributed over (4) dimensions, in addition to an open question about the challenges they face, and after verifying its validity and reliability; it was applied to (98) which was 30% of school principals in three governorates (Muscat- Ad Dakhiliyah- Ad Dhahirah). Results: The results of the study showed that the level of school principals' skills in evaluating employee performance according to the (Ijada) system from their point of view was average in the dimensions (administrative- analytical- technical), and high in the (human) dimension. Conclusions: A set of recommendations were presented, the most important of which are: providing training courses for school principals in analyzing performance evaluation results indicators in the Ijada system, practical workshops in providing constructive feedback to employees derived from their evaluation, training workshops on methods of matching goals with results, and methods of calculating evaluation.
