Abstract
The study aimed to reveal the level of professional future anxiety and its relationship to social responsibility among students expected to graduate from Mutah University. On a sample of (150) male and female students expected to graduate, and to achieve the objectives of the study, two scales were developed, the first to measure future professional anxiety and the second to measure social responsibility, after their validity and reliability were confirmed. The results of the study indicated that the arithmetic averages of the professional future anxiety scale were at an average level and that the arithmetic averages of the social responsibility scale came at an average level. The results also showed a very weak direct correlation between the total score of the professional future anxiety scale and the social responsibility scale, and there were no statistically significant differences on the scale of professional future anxiety and social responsibility due to the variable of gender and college. In light of these results, the study concluded a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: The necessity of developing programs to guide graduate students before their graduation, guide them and introduce them to job opportunities and their potential in order to reduce their exposure to cases of future professional anxiety. And the necessity of educating graduate students to define their social responsibilities towards their families and society through holding training courses and lectures.
