Abstract
Objectives: This research aims to collect and study the Quranic verses that include words and phrases which some exegetes have interpreted as referring to matters related to the Quran, such as its recitation, memorization, understanding, implementation, the danger of neglecting it, and other aspects of Quranic knowledge and sciences. However, these words and phrases are not explicitly indicative of such meanings at first glance. This is achieved through two tafsir works that are particularly focused on compiling a summary of the opinions of exegetes regarding the verses, their arrangement, and their well-coordination. These are: "Al-Nukat wa Al-Uyun" by Al-Mawardi and "Zad Al-maseer fi Ilm Al-Tafsir" by Ibn Al-Jawzi. Methods: The researcher employs the inductive, descriptive, and analytical methods. Conclusions: The research revealed a number of results, the most prominent of which are: The number of Quranic words and phrases interpreted in relation to the Quran and studied in this research amounted to eighteen instances, detailed as follows: Five verses related to the recitation of the Quran, its memorization, learning, teaching, the virtue of its people, and the misguidance of those who prevent others from reading it. Four verses related to understanding the Quran, its interpretation, acting upon it, and following it. Nine verses related to the revelation of the Quran, its facilitation, its clear and ambiguous verses (Muhkam and Mutashabih), abrogation (Nasikh and Mansukh), its miraculous nature, and its admonitions and warnings.
