Abstract
Objectives: This study aims to address the phenomenon of unwillingness to refrain from begging, prevalent in contemporary times, characterized by excessive questioning, outstretched hands and displays of poverty. This research compiles and critically analyzes Hadiths related to begging in Sahih Bukhari, employing a rigorous methodology to elucidate their authenticity and transmission channels. Methodology: In this research, I adopted an inductive, critical, and analytical approach. I compiled the hadiths related to seeking abstinence from asking, providing extensive documentation for these hadiths. Subsequently, I studied these hadiths, comparing the narrations and variations in each hadith. This analysis aimed to derive conclusions that distinguish between authentic and unauthentic narrations in this context. Conclusion: A comprehensive analysis of these Hadiths, facilitated by detailed authentication, revealed six narrations distributed across seven diverse chapters in Sahih Bukhari, underscoring Bukhari's emphasis on this issue. The study highlights Bukhari's precision in selecting authentic chains of transmission and accurate wording while avoiding weak narrations.
