Attitudes of Female Students Specializing in Autism Spectrum disorders towards Voluntary Work Programs at the University of Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Abstract
The study aimed to examine the attitudes of female students specializing in Autism Spectrum disorders towards voluntary work programs at the University of Jeddah. The sample consisted of 152 female students majoring in Autism Spectrum disorders in the Department of Special Education at the University of Jeddah. researcher used the Descriptive analytical survey method and a scale of (32) items. The validity and reliability of the instrument was verified. The results showed no statistically significant differences at the level of (α = 0.05) in the means of the attitudes of the students majoring Autism Spectrum disorders towards voluntary work programs at the University of Jeddah, based on the variable of the social status, the academic level, and the student’s social status at the level of the scale as a whole and at the level of its sub-dimensions. Among the most important recommendations are the establishment of special units for voluntary work in the College of Education for Girls and holding educational courses dealing with volunteering.
