Abstract
Objectives: This study aimed to determine the effects of moral and financial incentives on employee performance and satisfaction at Omdurman Ahlia University in Sudan. It also sought to make recommendations for improving the efficacy of the university's incentive program, which aims to raise employee performance and satisfaction. Methods: Since the population has 89 university administrative employees, the descriptive analytical method was adopted in this investigation. There were fifty workers at Omdurman Ahlia University in the study sample. The questionnaire was the primary research instrument used in this study. Results: The study produced several findings, one of which is that there is a statistically significant correlation between moral and financial incentives and raising employee performance at Omdurman Ahlia University as well as job satisfaction. This means that the more satisfied university workers are with their work, the more likely it is that they will perform better on the job. The study's findings also demonstrated that there are no statistically significant differences between the sample members' performance as university employees, which is the dependent variable, and their gender, age, years of experience, and academic background. Conclusion: The moral and financial incentives influence how well university staff perform on the job, which is reflected in employee satisfaction. As a result, staff members are highly motivated and eager to perform well at work, which goes a long way towards successfully achieving the necessary results because performance is a key determinant of staff efficiency.
